Meeting Zone
What do we, artists, producers, technicians, educators, politicians, indigenous people, quilombolas, mothers and LGBTQIA+ from the female universe produce as knowledge in the field of art? How do we transform our knowledge into memory? How do our practices connect? How can we align ourselves in our differences and crossings? How can we strengthen ourselves and create networks?
From these concerns, the ZONA DE ENCONTRO PROJECT emerges, a space for meetings and research that makes it possible to carry out creative processes for the production of knowledge and memory.
Under the artistic direction of Idylla Silmarovi, it comes with the proposal to facilitate meetings led by all those who recognize themselves as women, to exchange and record artistic experiences, crossing the creative processes in the arts with the interfaces of ethnic, racist, sexist, historical invisibilization. misogynistic and LBTQIA+phobic that we live due to the fact that we are in the feminine and arts universe, in this society.
Based on conversations and practices that permeate representations, memories, the notorious knowledge and feminine, feminist and transfeminist re-existences, an open and democratic space for ethical and aesthetic debate about the arts is established.
We have already carried out three editions of the project, including:
